The Dynak Process Programmer
The Dynak Process Programmer
U.S. Navy Carrier and U.S. Patent

In 1960, Dynak was commissioned by the U.S. Navy to develop a system which would measure the level of jet fuel stored in tanks aboard aircraft carriers. The system required sequential purging of air from fuel lines. Dynak designed and built the first Dynak Process Programmer to perform the sequential purging.

The Dynak Process Programmer actuates switches and/or valves which control remote devices. A fixed program or sequence of events are controlled from a single eight-position knob control, eliminating switching errors.

This product of creative engineering has been used in a wide range of applications since its debut. Our customers have found the process programmer especially useful for test equipment and startup or shutdown sequencing.

The Process Programmer is extremely flexible and can be built to your specific requirements. A typical six-station configuration yields 256 control combinations for each valve or switch; however, programmers are available with up to 24 stations.

The construction and integrity of the Dynak Process Programmer surpasses the stringent requirements of the U.S. Navy, who continue to use Dynak Process Programmers to this day.
